Surprised today, I was, when I saw on the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald (web edition www.smh.com.au) a plug for this documentary: 9/11 Press for Truth documentary. The blurb reads:
“Following the attacks of September 11th, a small group of grieving families waged a tenacious battle against those who sought to bury the truth about the event – including, to their amazement, President Bush. Six of them, including three of the famous ‘Jersey Girls’, tell for the first time the powerful story of how they took on the greatest powers in Washington and won! They compelled an investigation, only to subsequently watch the 9/11 Commission fail to answer most of their questions.”
Notice the title: 9/11 PRESS for Truth. Press = News Media. What are they saying – are they trying to come out of the info closet?? I know this is part of the documentary title, but the message, or co-incidence, is not lost on me. Also, the blurb does not say ‘allegedly sought to bury the truth’, it says ‘who sought to bury the truth, including President Bush’ – that is a statement of fact.
A look through smh.tv reveals other interesting titles that support a gradual coming out:

Now, if you are not Australian you probably would have missed LAST month’s news concerning Australia’s richest woman Gina Rinehart trying to take over editorial control of the publisher of the SMH, Fairfax Media. It was quite comical actually. Gradually Ms Rinehart bought shares to build up her ownership of Fairfax and at 15% demanded 3 seats on the board, but WOULD NOT ACQUIESCE TO THE BOARD’S DEMANDS TO MAINTAIN EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE. The Fairfax Board, which prides itself on editorial independence, called Ms Rinehart’s bluff and refused her the 3 seats.
So who is Gina Rinehart? According to Wikipedia:
“During 2011, both Forbes Asia and Business Review Weekly reported that Rinehart was Australia’s wealthiest person. In May 2012 BRW named her as the world’s richest woman, having surpassed Christy Walton (A$29 Billion).”
So now it becomes clear: Gina Rinehart, heiress to Lang Hancock’s privately owned Hancock Prospecting iron ore / mining empire, who did not even try to hide the fact that she would ignore Fairfax’s editorial independence of its board once she had gained 3 board seats, probably did not like the fact that Fairfax media was starting to report FOR THE PEOPLE and IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST in areas that directly threatened her personal interests: clean energy, environmental management and the control of powerful people over uninformed sheeple.
Finally, I will just point out that the only other publisher of Australian newsprint is Rupert Murdoch. So, IF Gina Rinehart is part of the cabal, her attempt at control in this age of light was, well, clumsy to say the least and the actions of a spoilt brat who is scared of losing her billions when the billions of us who inhabit the Earth would benefit wonderfully from clean energy technology and knowledge of how the wars really started.
More power to you Fairfax!
Namaste / God Bless / Go Well,
Ajna Andy

GREAT! The banksters are running around like rats, politicians are scrambling worldwide and the BIS closed it's doors due to all the lawsuits.

ReplyDeleteI went to watch the 911 video and of course From Canada it states "This Video is not authorized in your area" Total Media controlled by 6 companies!
ReplyDeleteRather funny... The content is not available in our third world country... USA... oh well.
ReplyDeleteThis content is not authorized for your area (US)
ReplyDeleteAny other way to view it??
I am searching for a way to do that. My apologies. Gutless isn't it, they will play it for Australia but no where else?
Delete(original poster anon): Actually yes. But i was rather "awake" over 10 years ago when i first returned from a trip to the Ukraine. I had never been exposed to such a free market before, nor all of the various regulatory commissions removed at the same time. It wasn't until i returned home after a couple months that, POW, they all smacked me in the face once again, all at the same time. The NEWS over there (Ukraine) was unbelievably free. USA News on TV is rather like Monty Hall game show. You can pick door number 1, door number 2, etc, but the difference these days, is there is no contestant winning a car. :)
DeleteWow! we are censored from watching this in the US...YIKES!!!
ReplyDeleteIs there a way around this???
Namaste AK! Thanks for everything 8^)
ReplyDeleteThe way to get around the "not available in your country" BS is to download a free privacy-protecting program called TOR.
TOR (use the complete bundle, not the browser extension version) includes a mini version of the Firefox browser. Using this *hides* one's point of origin (country)- try it!!!
I never had very good luck with TOR. Seemed to be a huge computer and network hog. There are proxy servers available that connect in Australia.
DeleteI hear ya- developers seem to assume that everyone has broadband and the latest super-duper speedy pc.
DeleteHere's a quick and easy free proxy portal:

Have you heard the one about... the agnostic, dyslexic insomniac?
DeleteHe lay awake at night, wondering if there is a Dog.
(Enjoy! : )
I would be flattened if all websites gave articles like that.
